چکیده

Background and objective: The objective of this study was to produce Asiatic hybrid lily with more than two flowers in one year starting from bulbils. This force 'Beni no Mai' bulbils influenced by harvesting date, flower bud removal, temperature manipulation evaluate dormancy maturity nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (NMRI) carbohydrates analysis. Methods: In experiment 1, were harvested at 0-30 days after anthesis (DAA), divided into 7 stages. And, soluble monosaccharides monosaccharide constituents analyzed. 2, buds plants that flowered on 21 April not removed or 13, 25 April. Bulbils four groups planted cold treatment. 3, received a sequential (SEQ CD) treatments for three weeks 2.5, 5.0, 7.5°C, 1 week 10, 12.5, 15°C, 3 7.5°C. 4, 0-70 DAA, subjected spin-spin lattice relaxation time NMRI.Results: 30 DAA produced within 282 days, better growth. showed higher concentration glucose lower non-cellulosic neutral glucose. Growth before flowering those 13 Apr. However, the number less 2. SEQ CD treatment 7.5°C/3W-15°C/1W-5°C/3W could 2.2 300 planting. When 0-28 yellow color corresponding T2 15-20 ms dominant, 56-70 35-50 50-100 ms.Conclusion: Considering results carbohydrate content bulbils, it found had shallower mature 30-42 28 DAA. Also, when these 7.5°C/3W-15°C/1W-5°C/3W, be year.

Postharvest flower development in Asiatic hybrid lilies as related to tepal carbohydrate status

For three Asiatic hybrid lily cultivars (‘Bright Beauty’, ‘Fashion’, ‘Orlito’) the potential postharvest performance of floral buds in terms of growth, anthesis and longevity was studied in relation to tepal carbohydrate status. To determine the importance of carbohydrate redistribution within lily inflorescences, the postharvest performance of several attached and detached buds was compared at...

Study of two hybrid lily (Longiflorum×Asiatic) cultivars ʻNashvilleʼ and ʻMerluzaʼ defensive some mechanisms against drought stress

In this research, to study the effect of drought stress on the morpho-physiological traits of two hybrid cultivars of lily, ʻMerluzaʼ and ʻNashvilleʼ, a factorial, completely randomized design-based experiment with four replicates was performed with potted plants in the experimental greenhouses of the department of Horticultural Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Agricultural Sciences and Natural...

Flower Development: From Bud to Bloom

In many commercial cut flowers, particularly those with spike or compound inflorescences, postharvest life and quality are highly dependent on the continued development of small buds to open blooms. Buds may be separated into two major types – those enclosed by a calyx, where petal growth is largely complete before the calyx opens or is shed, and those where the petals are naked and expand rapi...

Investigating of the Effects of Calcium Concentration under Hydroponic Conditions on Quantitative and Qualitative Growth of Lilium ‘Tresor

The Asiatic hybrid lily, a bulbous ornamental plant, has a special position in the horticulture as cut flower. To overcome some problems in nutrition of bulb flowers, the use of hydroponic system and nutrient solution is important in the cultivation of these flowers. The Asiatic Hybrid Lilium bulbs “Tresor” cultivar, used for the current research were planted under 3 different calcium levels in...

Two R2R3-MYB genes, homologs of Petunia AN2, regulate anthocyanin biosyntheses in flower Tepals, tepal spots and leaves of asiatic hybrid lily.

Anthocyanins are secondary metabolites that contribute to colors of flowers, fruits and leaves. Asiatic hybrid lily (Lilium spp.) accumulates cyanidin anthocyanins in flower tepals, tepal spots and leaves of juvenile shoots. To clarify their mechanisms of regulation of anthocyanin pigmentation, two full-length cDNAs of R2R3-MYB (LhMYB6 and LhMYB12) were isolated from the anthocyanin-accumulatin...
